Three Bulldogs golfers competed at the MSHSAA class one state golf championship Monday and Tuesday at the Sedalia Country Club.
Senior Layne Ray was the top performer for the Bulldogs at the state championship. On day one, Ray shot 102 over 18 holes and shot 92 on day two to finish with a score of 198, good for 46th place overall. This was Ray's second appearance at the state championship.
Senior Kaylee Stone finished 62nd. Stone's final score was 209 after shooting 105 on day one and 104 on day two. This was Stone's second appearance at the state golf championship.
In her first appearance at the championship, Junior Abby Gooch finished 72nd after shooting 111 on day and 107 on day two for a total of 218.
