  • Two arrested on meth charges

  • Friday evening the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in the 20000 block of Audrain Road 918. As a result of the search warrant two suspects were arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of Lorazepam, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The East Central Drug Task Force and the Sheriff's Office were assisted in the investigation by the Audrain Ambulance District.
    Arrested were: Timothy Don Jeffries, 50, of Mexico. Jeffries' bond is set at $16,000; and Christie Dawn, 41, of Mexico. Lynn's bond is set at $26,000
    The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Mexico, Montgomery City, Vandalia and Warrenton, the counties of Audrain, Montgomery and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
