Friday November 22, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Mexico Ledger's feature story on the anniversary date will focus on the memories of local area residents. The Ledger is issuing a call to persons interested in sharing their experience.
Persons wanting to send their remembrances of where they were when the event occurred, what they thought when they first heard of the event, and their reactions to the event (including up to the present day) are invited to submit their thoughts to The Ledger for publication consideration.
Submissions should be no longer than 300-350 words and are subject to The Ledger's submission policies for editing of spelling, grammar, or offensive materials. All submissions must include the name of the author, a contact number, and a local address.
Send the submission via email to either email@example.com Attn: J Griffin or firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of the day on Nov. 19, 2013.
Typed submissions meeting the guidelines above will be accepted at The Ledger until the deadline. People whose submissions are accepted for use will be contacted via telephone.
