Man in remains in jail without bond

Early today, the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Mexico Public Safety Department conducted a consent search of a vehicle near the intersection of North Clark and West Love Street.
As a result of the consent search one suspect was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of a weapon, a .380 caliber pistol.
Arrested was Aramis Deveray Curtis, 24, of Mexico. Curtis remains in jail without bond.
The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Mexico, Montgomery City, Vandalia and Warrenton, the counties of Audrain, Montgomery and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
