Larry Wayne Walker, 70 of Centralia died Monday December 16, 2013 at his home.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico with burial to follow at Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Larry was born on December 25, 1942 in Paris, MO the son of Allan B. and Ruby L. (Newbrough) Walker.
Larry was an avid Mizzou, St. Louis Cardinals and NASCAR fan. He really enjoyed reading and in his younger years he loved to ride horses and motorcycles. Larry most of all loved his family.
On November 19, 1989 Larry married Margie Adkisson, she survives of the home.
Along with his wife, Margie, Larry is survived by a daughter, Deanna Elsbury (Tim) of Waldorf, Maryland, son Doug Walker (Cindy) of Centralia, daughter, Susan Walker-Price of Centralia, son Greg Walker (Jeni) of Mexico, step-son, Ron Mabrey (Patty) of Collins, MO, step-daughter, Jackie Mabrey of Centralia; grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Elsbury, Meghan and Josh Price, Jake and Reiley Walker; step-grandchildren, James Mabrey (Nina) of Clark, Brandy Phillips (Thomas) of Centralia, Jennifer Herbert of Mexico, Sara Dorman of Centralia; seven step- great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Walker and wife Helen, and a sister, Karen Parrott and husband John, all of Mexico.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a step-son James Mabrey III.
