Seventeen swimmers participate in event

Seventeen Mexico YMCA Marlins Swim Team members participated in the Jim Devine Memorial Invitational in Columbia, Nov. 15-17, at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
This was a USA Sanctioned Meet with 42 teams from Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri with over 1,300 swimmers attending.
Sarah Vogt, 12, received a 2nd place ribbon in the 100 breaststroke and the 50 breaststroke, 6th place ribbon in the 100 individual medley, and 8th place ribbon in the 50 butterfly.
Drew Hibbs, 10, received a 4th ribbon in the 50 breaststroke and 5th place ribbon in the 100 breaststroke.
Kaitlyn Erhart, 14, placed 9th in the 1650 freestyle.
Shelby Toalson, 16, placed 11th in the 1650 freestyle.
Riley Dycus, 7, Jordyn Thurman, 8, Ethan Mertens, 8, Riley Reynolds, 8, Riley Thurman, 9, Rachel Mertens, 10, Ruthie Duncan, 11, Andrew Erhart, 11, Reese Toalson, 11, Aaliyah Jaramillo, 11, Lanie Mertens, 13, Jake Bell, 14, and Michele Hibbs, 17, also participated.
