Martinsburg men arrested Tuesday on various charges
Early Tuesday morning, the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain Sheriff's Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol served a search warrant in the 13000 block of Audrain Road 757. As a result of the consent search two suspects were arrested on various charges and officers seized a .380 caliber handgun, ammunition, synthetic cannabinoids, and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested were Jeffrie Wayne Cash, 33, of Martinsburg for assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, and driving while license revoked. Cash remains in jail without bond.
Brian Allen Cash, 36, of Martinsburg for possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of drug paraphernalia, a Missouri Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation, and an Audrain County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charges of driving while license revoked and speeding. Cash was released to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Mexico, Montgomery City, Vandalia and Warrenton, the counties of Audrain, Montgomery and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
