Jennifer Nicole Brekhus, 34 years of age, of Centralia, Mo. died June 26, 2014 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Mo. She was born Sept. 19, 1979, the daughter of the late Karen Galloway and stepfather Randell Galloway in Mexico, Mo. Jennifer was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a loving mother who cared very much about her family. She was such a laid back, easy going woman whose smile could always brighten your day. She was employed until 2011 when diagnosed with cancer.
Survivors include two sons, Brendan Brekhus, Centralia, Mo. and Dylan Beasley, Centralia, Mo.; one sister, Jill Griggs and husband Rusty of Centralia; one brother, Ryan Galloway and wife Vanessa of Centralia, Mo.; her stepfather, Randell Galloway and wife Shonda of Centralia; grandparents, Lyndell Galloway, Centralia; Clifford Brekhus and wife Lavone of Minot, N.D.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Galloway; grandparents, Morris and Millie Ball; and cousin, Kenny Lee Ball.
Services were held at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, today, Monday, June 30, at 10 a.m. Rev. Michael Cooper, Pastor First Baptist Church, Centralia, Mo. officiated. Interment was in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Centralia, Mo. Visitation was held Sunday, June 29, at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, from 6 until 8 p.m.
