Golfer has busy summer

Mexico’s Alex Bledsoe has had a busy summer on the golf course.
On July 7, Bledsoe competed in the 16-18 Boys division of the Lake of the Ozark Junior Golf Association’s Tournament Series event held at Redfield Golf and Country Club in Eugene and won after a three-hole sudden death playoff.
Bledsoe shot a 77 for the 18 hole course and then went par, par and birdie to win the playoff against Harrison Welsh of Olathe, KS.
“It was great to win,” Bledsoe said. “I am glad I was able to compete well and keep focused in the playoff.”
Bledsoe will be a senior at MHS in the fall.
