Goals are updated monthly

Mexico/Audrain County has been approved by the Missouri State Investment Board as a Work Ready Community In Progress.
This has been accomplished due to Assistant City Manager Russell Runge’s efforts to become a Certified Work Ready Community. Runge has been working on the project for the past year and received notice this week of the State’s award.
The goal of Certified Work Ready Communities is to attract, retain, and develop a workforce with the education and fundamental skills necessary to succeed in the 21st Century.
The designation demonstrates Mexico’s and Audrain County’s dedication and commitment to preparing their workforce for the jobs of today and the jobs of the future. The CWRC in Progress status grants Mexico/Audrain County up to two years to attain full CWRC Certification.
The goals are updated monthly and can be viewed at any time at www.workready·communities.com/MO.
