Lonald N. Barnes, 63, of Jonesburg, MO, died at 11:50 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at his home.  
Mr. Barnes was born August 24, 1950 in Mexico, MO, to Howard Barnes and Barbara Brown Barnes.  He graduated from Mexico High School in Mexico, MO.  Mr. Barnes was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in the Vietnam War, receiving a Purple Heart.  He was the plant manager in the automotive industry until his health started to decline.  On March 22, 1996 he married Cathy Cummings in Georgia.  Mr. Barnes enjoyed golfing, fishing, and collecting coins.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, Cathy Cummings Barnes of Jonesburg, MO; four sons:  Jerry Barnes and wife, Emily, of O’Fallon, MO; Thomas Barnes and wife, Bridget, of Portland, Oregon; Brian Barnes of Helena, Montana; and Dustin Barnes of Helena, Montana; step-son, Jack Woods and wife, Tanya, of Canton, Georgia; and three grandchildren: Gavin, Paige and Brady.  Also surviving are his brothers, Ronald Barnes, Eric Barnes, Randy Barnes, Gaylan Barnes, and Linn Barnes; one sister, Carolyn Barnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Barnes and Barbara Brown Barnes.
The family will have private funeral services.
