Gertrude Luebrecht, a resident at Golden Living-Pin Oaks is celebrating her 100th birthday. She and her husband, Al, lived on a farm at St. Clement. She moved into the nursing home when she was 90. She is the mother of four daughters, Ruth Gillum, Dorothy Allen, Frances McDannold and Marilyn Taliaferro; and she has 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A birthday open house is being held from 2-4 p.m. today at the nursing facility.
