The eighth annual golf tournament sponsored by the Audrain-Montgomery County chapter of the American Red Cross will be held Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Mexico Country Club.
Check-in is 9 a.m. with play beginning at 10 for the two-flight tourney played in the four-person scramble format. Lunch will be served at noon.
The entry fee is $240 per team, which includes lunch. Prize money will be paid for first and second place in each flight, and there will be hole prizes. Mulligans may be purchased for $5.
Registration forms are available at area golf courses or may be obtained by contacting the office of the Audrain-Montgomery Country chapter at 207 N. Washington in Mexico or by phoning (573) 581-4273, faxing (573) 581-4268 or emailing redcrossmo@sbcglobal.net.
Tourney contact person is Greg Holman, who may be reached at (573) 581-5500.
Proceeds from the tourney, one of the chapter’s main fundraising events, provide resources that enable the chapter to provide services in the two-county area. The primary ways in which the Red Cross helps local clients are single family disasters, natural disasters, service to military families, health and safety services and blood services.
