The New Year will bring in new people in three offices in Audrain County.

Matt Oller, will begin his duties as the new Audrain County Sheriff. He replaces Stuart Miller, who has retired after more than 30 years as Audrain County Sheriff. Oller said this was the first time in 32 years there will be a new sheriff. "I am humbled that I was chosen and hope to serve with honesty, integrity and accountability."

Two commissioners will be new in the Audrain County Courthouse. Tracy Graham is the new Western District Commissioner, and Alan Winders is the new Eastern District Commissioner.

Winders said he is excited to see where this new road leads him and said he will do his best for the county. Graham jokingly said Winders could make the comments and he would sit back and listen. He thanked everyone for coming, especially his family. Graham replaces Tom Groves, and Winders replaces Roger Young, who both decided not to run for re-election.

The three men, along with incumbents Connie Hagan, Public Administrator; and Todd Yager, Audrain County Coroner, were sworn in Friday morning by Audrain County Clerk Shelley Harvey at the courthouse before family and friends.

Following the swearing in ceremony, Stuart Miller, pinned the sheriff's badge on new Sheriff Matt Oller.
