After running over and through Sullivan 51-28 and Macon 60-3 last week during a home quad meet, the Centralia varsity wrestling team is going to be a problem for the opposition on Saturday at the Odessa Invitational.

Against Sullivan the Panther's got wins by fall from Andrew Newbrough at 113 over Luke Dixon in 2:44, Grafton Litrell at 132 against Kobie Blankenship in 5:05 and Jackson Evans at 170 in :30 over Dalton Ward. While all of those weight classes should prove to be tough outs, the same could be said for heavyweight Trey Taft, who pinned Carter Randolph in 1:29, Quentin Foster downed Dalton Lynch in 3:11 at 195 and at 182 Trevor Bodine stuck Brent Schoonveld in 3:22.

Carter Kinkead also showed what he was made of for the Panther's against Sullivan at 152 by beating Evan Shetley 11-5, a chance Sam Hasekamp at 220 and Nicklaus Toedebusch at 120 didn't get because they won by void.

Centralia was at Battle for a quad meet Tuesday featuring Father Tolton and on Jan. 31 the team travels to Marceline for a tri-meet also featuring Chillicothe.
