Margie P. Donaldson, 94, of Mexico, died Saturday, February 04, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico.
A mass of christian burial will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Wednesday from 10 – 11 at the church. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.
Margie was born on July 4, 1922 in St. Patrick, MO, the youngest daughter of Fred and Clara (Riesling) Logsdon. She married Elmer L. Donaldson on Nov. 10, 1946 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2013.
Her church and family were most important to her and she spent her life being involved with both.
She is survived by her four children; Fred (Gay) Donaldson of Mexico, Nancy (Raymond) Fricke of Fulton, Darby Donaldson of Mexico and Darren (Christy) Donaldson of Mexico; six grandchildren, Michael (Dee) Donaldson, Missy (Warren) Jones, Crystal (Charlie) Bahr, Derek Fricke, Clay Jeffrey, Cami Donaldson and five great-grandchildren; Isabelle, Piper, Addison, Avery and Tinsley.
In addition to her husband Elmer, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Michelle, a great-grandson Bryson and seven brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Brendan School in care of Arnold Funeral Home.
