Students at Hart Career Center were initiated into the National Technical Honor Society.
NTHS is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.
According to Christina Eick, NTHS adviser, the honored students have met the high criteria in the areas of program completion, academic, as well as, career education GPA standards, attendance standards, and have been nominated by their program instructors as meeting the NTHS standards of honesty, service, leadership and skill development.
Students were recognized and inducted into NTHS by their program instructors and Eick.
Students initiated into NTHS and their class include: Abbygayle Jones, Mexico, agriculture; Chase Monte, Mexico, agriculture; Raegan Samm, Mexico, agriculture; Carlene Allen, North Callaway, cosmetology; Jonathan Taylor, Mexico, computer science; Antonio Williams, Mexico, computer science; Richard Beatty, Van-Far, computer service; Trenton Brandl, Paris, diesel technology; and Jace Gay, Van-Far, Diesel Technology.
