While not all the results of the Elsberry boys varsity golf Invitational on Tuesday had been posted as of yesterday morning, what is known is that Montgomery County finished first in the Red Division ith a score of 345.

Placing second on the day was Van-Far.

Coming in fourth overall as an individual for the Wildcats was Aubrey Nelson after carding an 81 and Cole Curry charted an 83 to take seventh.

"Not our best rounds as a team but Sun Valley is a tough course," said Montgomery County coach Jessie Cobb. "We have to get our three-putts under control to start cutting strokes off the score."

The Wildcats were at Centralia on Wednesday and hosted a quad meet Thursday that featured Silex, Warrenton and the Indians.

Van-Far is at the Eastern Missouri Conference meet on Monday.
