All three are sophomores

Because Ben Burton, Ethan Burton and Isaac Ussery were voted to the MHSBCA All-State team over the weekend, Tigers varsity baseball coach Earl Burton had some thoughts to share.

"This could be a first for Wellsville-Middletown R-1. I can’t remember anybody achieving this honor for the Tigers in the past. I know we've had some very good players but this could be a first for the school. These three are well deserving and played important roles. Congratulations to them. The Tigers excelled this past season in the playoffs. With community support, the Tigers were able to accomplish several firsts, (including) district champions, the Final Four and a trip to the (class 1) title game."
