Just one week removed from losing a close rivalry game at North Callaway, the South Callaway varsity football team went into Montgomery County for an Eastern Missouri Conference contest last Friday and won 56-21.

The only time the Wildcats had an offensive advantage in the game was when they outscored South Callaway 8-7 in the third quarter. Prior to that South Callaway had posted advantages of 14-0 in the first quarter and 28-13 in the second to head into halftime leading 42-13. South Callaway then claimed the fourth 7-0 to earn themselves the league victory according to maxpreps.com.

Montgomery County, 1-4 overall, has another league game at Bowling Green on Friday.
