Mexico 30, Fulton 0

Isaiah Reams, TD runs of nine, six and 28 yards

Michael White, 40-yard TD run, two-point conversion run

Peyton Willer, two-point conversion run

"Xavier Holliman had an interception killing Fulton’s first offensive drive. Our running backs had a fantastic game with wingback Isaiah Reams accounting for three touchdowns and a two point conversion," said coach David Okenfuss. "This was our most complete game. By improving our tackling, the defense earned a shutout while our offense moved the ball effectively thanks to our offensive line’s improved blocking . We will need to continue to improve."

Mexico next play Moberly next Tuesday at Hawthorne Heights.

Mexico 20, Fulton 14

Andrew Runge, 20-yard TD run

Jhamarion Dorsey, 10-yard TD run

Morgan Grubb, three-yard TD run

"Our kids played a great game and never gave up. We got down early but they kept their heads up and continued to battle," said coach Dwight Loyd. "Offensively this is the best our line has looked all year. Our front 6 gave our running backs opportunities to get out in space and make plays. Defensively we had one blown play in the first half then they buckled down and played the rest of the game like we knew they could. Overall this is the best game we’ve played this season."

Mexico hosts Moberly on Oct. 10.
