The East Central Drug Task Force assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff ‘s Office, Mexico Department of Public Safety and Missouri Highway Patrol served a search warrant in the 1100 block of Harwood Street, in Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri on Tuesday evening. As a result of the search warrant officers arrested two people and officers seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested were Timothy Deshay Lawson, 24, of Mexico, for delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), endangering the welfare of a child, maintaining a public nuisance, and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Brooke Louise Bealmer, 31, of Mexico, for possession of methamphetamine, endangering the welfare of a child, maintaining a public nuisance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
The East Central Drug Task Force was organized in 2001 and serves the cities of Bowling Green, Fayette, Glasgow, High Hill, Jonesburg, Louisiana, Mexico, Montgomery City, New Florence, Palmyra, Vandalia and Warrenton, the counties of Audrain, Cooper, Howard, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike Ralls, and Warren, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
