In its final Eastern Missouri Conference meet of the regular season at home on Tuesday, the North Callaway varsity volleyball team got three kills and three digs from Sydney Harrison and Madison Davis was good for four digs.
Allyson Eichman even clocked three sets, two aces and a kill, all of which still left the Ladybirds falling short against Wright City, 17-25, 18-25. Jenna Leible also got in on the action with three kills and one dig, Nicole Emmons had two digs, two aces and a kill and Kathryn Ziese added two digs and one ace.
In the JV game North Callaway won, 25-16, 25-22, on the strength of Maddison Isaacks' three kills and two digs, Alex Higgins sprinkled in five sets, two aces and a dig and racking up five digs and two aces was Maureen Salisbury.
"The JV played really well tonight and it showed. They won in two sets and I am so proud of them," said coach Kayla Peterson. "We had some great blocks, great passes, great sets, and all around great ball handling."
The Ladybirds host North Callaway on Thursday.
