“We got a great defensive effort from our big men down low and our guards added pressure out top in the second half to make the difference” said coach Kevin Duncan. St. Brendan had not trailed all year so it was the first real adversary they had faced. “I am very proud of how our team responded tonight. The home crowd was into the game and St. Pius was playing well. We could have folded but our boys stayed focused and got back to basics”

St. Brendan's, 4-0, was at Fulton on Tuesday to face Kingdom Christian Academy and on Nov. 13 the team hosts Holy Rosary.
