Gary Mattingly, 76, passed away December 4, 2017.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon Mattingly of South Daytona, FL, his children Christopher Mattingly; Pamela Coffer (Donnie); Rebecca Campbell of Mexico, MO; Lynette Post (Michael) of Clarkston, MI; Missy Morgan of Ashburn, MO; Peter Morgan (Michelle); Joey Morgan (Regina); Wendy Reno of Hannibal, MO; 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandra Mattingly of Mission, Texas. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Mattingly, and his parents, Reginald and Lavon Mattingly of Mexico, MO.

He worked for Audrain Medical Center for 24 years as an anesthetist . He and his wife retired in 1995 to travel the United States in their 5th wheel trailer where they enjoyed their lives to the fullest. He donated his remains to science. There will be a celebration of life in Daytona Beach, FL on January 31, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.
