Glendean Davidson, 82, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dean was born July 15, 1935 in Meta, the daughter of S. Glen and Lennie Frances (Balleau) Means. On February 2, 1952 in Meta, she married Hollis Stanley “Cotton” Davidson, Jr. He passed away on April 14, 2015.

Mrs. Davidson had been the office manager for 30 years at Crown Laundry.  She enjoyed sewing and served as the sewing 4-H leader for the Carter Cavaliers. She loved feeding the hummingbirds and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all, Dean loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Dennis (Rita) Davidson of Mexico; one daughter, Glenda Barnes (Randy Gray) of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Shawn (April) Davidson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Andy (Mindy) Davidson of Windsor, Colorado, Lucy Davidson (fiancé Doug Wright) of Nashville, Tennessee, Holly (John) Metzger of Mexico, Abby (Nick) Watson of Mexico, Jennifer (Ed) Mays of Warminster, Pennsylvania, Bobby (Vickie) Tanner of Mexico, and Tim (Linda) Tanner of Mexico; 14 great-grandchildren, Mikel and Thomas Davidson, Nathan and Clayton Davidson, Hollis and Hayslea Watson, Javon, Isaiah, and Makenna Tanner, Tre Mays, Bentley and Nina Tanner, Riley Stuart, and Geneva Tanner; one sister, Thelma Chilton of St. Louis; and her special friends, Athleen Welch of Mexico and Barb Alexander of Mexico.

In addition to her husband, Stanley, Dean was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.
