Midway Christian

For the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Midway Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Worship is at 10:30 a.m. The church is handicapped accessible. Visitors are welcome. Midway is located north of Mexico on Road 380. Everyone is welcome.


Littleby Baptist Church

Littleby Baptist Church has Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., and worship at 10:15 a.m. The church is 12 miles north of Mexico on Highway J.


South Fork Presbyterian

Services at South Fork Presbyterian Church are held at 9 a.m. The public is welcome to attend. The church is located 7 miles west of Perry on Hwy 154 then 2 miles south on Blacktop E.


Santa Fe Christian

Sunday school is held at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday at Santa Fe Christian Church with worship at 10:30 a.m. each week Bible study is held each Wednesday. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. with the study at 6:30 p.m. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and worship service is at 10:30 a.m.


The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

The Mexico Ward holds Sacrament service from 10 to 11:05 a.m., followed by Sunday school from 11:15 a.m. to noon with Relief Society / Priesthood meetings held from 12:05 p.m. to 1 p.m.


Bethlehem Baptist

Bethlehem Baptist Church has Sunday morning praise and prayer meeting at 9:45 a.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m. and assembly for Sunday morning message at 11 a.m.  


St. Brendan Catholic

St. Brendan Catholic Church weekend Mass schedule is 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday.  The Scripture readings for the Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time will be a reading from the Book of Job 7:1-4, 6-7; a reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians and the Holy Gospel according to Mark 1:29-39.  Rev.  There will also be a Mass in Spanish on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Patrick Dolan.  Everyone is welcome.

First Baptist

 First Baptist Church congregation welcomes everyone to join them for Sunday School at 9 a.m. and the service at 10:15 a.m.

First Presbyterin Church

On Feb. 18, this Sun., at 9 a.m. the theme will be Boy Scout Sunday as Guest Speaker Bill Young will deliver a sermon taken from Exodus 16:2-4 and Ephesians 4:1-16 titled, "To Equip the Saints".

On Feb. 19 Lenten Lunches run from noon to 1 p.m. and soup and sandwiches are provided for a freewill offering and on Wed. Lenten Services run from 7-7:30 p.m.in the sanctuary. "The Lord's Prayer", is this years theme.

The High School youth will also meet on Wed. mornings from Feb. 21- Mar. 21 at Mosiers from 7:50-8:15 a.m. for their Lenten study and the Lunch Bunch is meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 21 at Pig Up and Go.


Second Missionary Baptist Church

Union Baptist Church

On Saturday, Feb. 17th at 8 a.m. there will be a men's prayer meeting. The congregation will then travel to the Arc in Columbia for a swim at 1 p.m.

On Sunday at 9:30 a.m. there will be Sunday School classes for all ages, at 10:30 a.m. pastor Terry Delaney will bring the message and at 11:30 a.m. there will be a fellowship dinner for which the church will provide the main course and the beverages. Parishioners are asked to supply the sides ans deserts. There will then be church training at 6 p.m. followed by the message of the Holy Spirit presented by pastor Terry Delaney.


First United Pentecostal

Sunday school and morning worship at 10 for all ages. Sunday prayer is at 6 p.m. and service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday youth class for ages 12-20 and Bible study for adults meet at 7:30 p.m. Family prayer is the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. Men’s early prayer each day Monday-Friday is at 5 a.m. Everyone is welcome to worship.


St. Paul CME

First Christian Church

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), has Sunday school for all ages at 9:15 a.m., worship is at 10:30 a.m. Worship service is a blended hour of praise, including both contemporary singing and traditional features. This Sunday, February 4, 2018 worship service will be led by Rev. Zane Whorton.

As with many local churches, Sunday is the most important time for worship and learning. Church school attendance begins at the East door just off the Library parking lot. Guests and visitors are welcomed. All classes begin at 9:15 a.m.

Like the other churches of “Stone-Campbell Tradition”, First Christian Church celebrates The Lord’s Supper as a part of every worship service. All Christians are invited to partake of the emblems of Christ’s sacrifice.

Friendship Baptist

Mexico United Methodist

Rev. Eric Mattson’s sermon this Sunday is “Signs,” based on Mark 1:29-39. The congregation will also celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to join members of the Mexico United Methodist Church in praise, worship, and fellowship. Worship is at 10:15 a.m., including children’s worship and middle school worship, Sunday school for all ages at 9 a.m. and childcare is provided for both. Lockewood Baptist Church

Lockewood Park Baptist Church, 1005 W. Love, Mexico, invites you to worship with them starting at 10:40 a.. this Sunday. The sermon presented by Reverend Randy Jones is titled “The Coming of the Holy Spirit”. This is the fourth in the series “The Church That Changed The World”. A collection for the Mexico Food Bank will be received at the end of the service.

Sunday School classes for children and youth are in the basement while adult classes are on the first floor. Sunday School starts at 9:30 for all. We have a new class for Young Adults, ages 18 through 35. Children in grades K-5th will attend a special presentation named “UpStreet” which features adults acting out the Bible stories and involving the children.


Church of God (Holiness)

Sunday school at Church of God (Holiness) for all ages begins at 9:45 a.m. and worship is at 10:45 a.m. On Wednesday, Kids for Christ and prayer and praise service is a 7 p.m. Every is welcome to worship.


Kentucky Road Christian Church

This Sunday morning worship will be traditional at 8 a.m. and presented by lead minister Tony Maxwell. This weeks sermon is titled, "Jesus is the Example", and it is derived from Mark 9. There will also be a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m., Childern's Chirch for kids from preschool through fifth grade runs at the same time and Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30 a.m.

Auxvasse Christian

The Auxvasse Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has worship service at 9:45 a.m. with the Rev. Heather Patten, Minister. Everyone is welcome to attend. The Rev. Patten’s message will be based on Mark 1:2-39. Psalm 147:1-11, 20c will also be read during the service.

Soul's Harbor

Soul’s Harbor Baptist Church and Rusty Crutchfield, pastor invites the public to join the congregation as they look to God’s Word for direction and comfort. Sunday school begins at 10 am followed by morning worship at 11 am. Wednesday prayer meeting and Bible study begins at 7 p.m. 

Soul's Harbor is an old fashioned, Bible believing, Independent Baptist Church. Rush Hill Community

Rush Hill Community Church worship services begin at 9 a.m. this Sunday with Bob Stanford giving the message, “The Right Direction” from James 5: 7-12. Miah Sprock is the junior worship leader. Sunday school begins at 10:25 a.m. with classes available for all ages.

 A card and game party with a free meal will be held at 6 p.m. today February 2 at the church. On February 4, members will be singing at King’s Daughters at 4 p.m. and at Teal Lake at 6 p.m.

The Women’s Faith Finder Bible study will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6 at the church.  The Men’s Bible study will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at the home of Jim Spencer.

 The youth’s annual lasagna supper will be held on Saturday, February 10  from 5 to 7 p.m.


Sunrise Christian

St. John's Lutheran

Saint John's Lutheran Church of Mexico welcomes everyone to worship on Sunday, Februrary 4 as they celebrate the Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany of the Lord.  There are two services available:  9 and 11:15 a.m.  Bible studies and Sunday school for all ages is at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday.  Rev. Donaldo Sonntag's sermon theme at the 9 a.m. service is "Able and Willing."  There will be Holy Communion at the 9 a.m. service.  Marvalee Alinder will be reading the Old Testament Scripture from Isaiah 40:21-31 and Epistle from 1 Corinthians 9:16-27. Rev. Sonntag will read the Holy Gospel from Mark 1:29-39. Eldora Lowry will be the organist. The 11:15 a.m. Journey service is in the family life center gymnasium with the band Ignite leading the praise music.  Rev. Sonntag is continuing a series of messages on "Stewardship." Services at St. Matthew's Episcopal church begin each Sunday at 10 a.m. Coffee/fellowship hour follows in the Parish Hall. Holy Communion is part of every service and all baptized Christians are welcome at the altar.  Visitors are always welcome.

KINGDOM CITY – Lighthouse church has connection classes for ages beginning at 9 a.m. worship is at 10 a.m. A nursery is available for infants thru preschool.
