The good news for the Paris varsity track and field team this year is tht it didn't lose and players to graduation from its girls team.
The bad news was Jacob Green, Drew Duncan and Dylan Painter were all lost from the boys squad for that very same reason. That doesn't mean head coach Gary Crusha and team don't have plenty in store for the opposition because they absolutely do. What it does mean is that in order to utilize the talent and skill they do have to the utmost the Coyotes are going to have to choose their moments carefully while always making sure they play to their own strengths.
"We will compete well in several events including distance runs, middle distance, throwing and jumping events," said Crusha.
Coming back this season is a host of talented athletes for the girls that include Grace Peak, Marriko Williams, Delaney Miller and Katy Pugh. The boys also return several unique skill sets such as Alex Green, Ethen Redington and Kaison Berrey.
"I think Hannah Mitchell, Aly Francis, Tyler Staples and Brett Miller will be some of our athletes who will stand out this year," said Crusha. We have some promising young athletes who we have high expectations of."
