Deanna C. Palmer, 74, of Mexico, died Wednesday August 8, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2018, at the First Assembly of God Church in Mexico with Pastor Everett Bradshaw officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pickering Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Deanna was born July 2, 1944, in Moberly, Mo., the daughter of Harold and Nadine (Beamer) Palmer. On July 11, 1964, she married Larry T. Palmer in Clark, Mo. Mr. Palmer died July 24, 2018.

Mrs. Palmer was a care provider having worked at Coldwell Nursing Home and later did child care in her home. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mexico, and she enjoyed attending and volunteering at Mexico Senior Center.

Survivors include, three sons, David Palmer, Mexico, Jimmy Palmer (Theresa) Bauxite, Ark., and Stephen Palmer and former daughter in law Danielle Palmer of Mexico; one daughter, Jennifer Chitwood (James), Mexico; two brothers, Richard Neeson, Mexico, and Randy Neeson, Clark, Mo.; one sister, Brenda Migliore, Buffalo, New York; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Robby) Siegler, Leesa Palmer, Morgan (Brenden) Chitwood, Hunter Palmer, Sheridan and Collin Chitwood, and Jacob Palmer; and two great grandchildren, Preston Weirich and Sawyer Siegler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lisa Palmer; and one sister, Margaret Neeson.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the Mexico Senior Center or to the First Assembly of God Church.
