The 10-team Paris Scramble Tournament on Wednesday at the Par-72 Mark Twain Country Club brought out squads from a wide range of areas because it allows those who have larger rosters to get six different players on the course.
But, because the format allowed teams to get newer golfers some much needed experience, that created a disparity in some of the individual and team scores. One squad that wasn't there for development was Centralia. Instead, they charted a team score of 176 to win the event and were led by the duo of Aida Stanley/Abby Hoek with a score of 45/44-89. Lacey Pavlak/ReaLee Smith also carded a 45/42-87 for the Lady Panthers and McKenzie Marty/Hannah Pendergrast was good for a 50/52-102.
The Mexico JV finished 10th for this tournament with a score of 254 as Raven Azdell/Mary Nowlin teamed up to lay down a 68/61-129 and Jennifer Batts/Quin Manns posted a score of 65/60-125.
The Lady Coyotes grabbed the eighth spot for this event by coming in at 200 and the highlight of that effort came from Aurea Rucker/Erin Heinecke at 47/45-92. Next up for Paris was Gracie Hatton with a 56/52-108 and shooting a 67/69-136 was Jada Wilson/Shadora Foy.
