Today the Sheriff’s Office along with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and East Central Drug Task Force arrested Allen Alverez Lyons, 19, of Mexico for Robbery, Armed Criminal Action, trafficking cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Lyons was arrested at his home in the 1000 block of South Trinity while officers executed a search warrant. While serving the search warrants officers found Lyons in possession of over two grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, some fireworks believed to have been stolen from Fireworks City, a cell telephone believed to be stolen from the security guard of Fireworks City, and a .380 caliber semi automatic handgun believed to have been used in the course of the robbery of the Fireworks City Fireworks Stand on June 29 and located near the intersection of Highways 54 and D.
Lyons remains in jail without bond.
