Students hear Rachel's story

Luke Towle presented a Rachel’s Challenge event at Mexico High School Wednesday morning, and at Mexico Middle School (pictured) Wednesday afternoon. Rachel Scott was the first person killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. Rachel’s acts of kindness and compassion coupled with the contents of her six diaries have become the foundation for the life-changing program. The one hour Rachel’s Challenge presentation motivates students to change the way they treat others. The program is followed by a 45-minute training session involving both adult and student leaders.
