The annual Relay for Life was held Friday at Mexico Middle School. Every year cancer survivors take the first lap around the track. The Eastern Miracle Walkers raised more than $82,000. The Go-Getters, raised a little over $20,000.
There were 397 survivors.
"This really says a lot about out community," said Relay committee member Nancy Early. "Each year, they outdo themselves by leaps and bounds."
