Judy Baker, Democratic candidate for Missouri's 9th congressional district visits with George Fort, Missouri Veterans’ Home resident, while touring the facility Thursday afternoon. Baker is a two-term member of the Missouri House of Representatives, first elected in 2004 and again in 2006. A college professor and a small businessperson, she lives in Columbia with her husband John and their three children, Sarah, Lauren and David. She has three opponents in the primary, Senate Minority Leader Ken Jacob, former Speaker of the House Steve Gaw and Marion County Presiding Commissioner Lyndon Bode. The election is Tuesday.
