Veterans to be honored Mexico

Missouri Military Academy will be holding a special Veterans Day military review at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Colonels Field.
The 121st MMA Corps of Cadets invites all veterans in the area to come and observe the proceedings, which will be held in their honor. Veterans may participate in troop inspection and review of the battalion. MMA is located at 204 Grand Street, Mexico.

In observance of Veterans Day, a presentation on the Central Missouri Honor Flight campaign will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Mexico Senior Center, 606 Park St., Mexico. The presentation will include videos of the six flights that have flown out of Central Missouri. Previous Honor Flight veterans are invited to attend and give an account of their experiences on an Honor Flight, as well.
World War II veterans interested in taking an Honor Flight are invited to the free program to learn more about the all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to see their memorial.

A free breakfast for all veterans will be held from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Hall, Hwy. 22 West, Mexico. Pancakes, sausage and beverages will be served. The breakfast is open to the general public for $4 per meal.
