Floyd F. (Corky) Flick, age 86, of Carrollton, Missouri, was called to be with Jesus, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Carroll House, surrounded by the love of his family. Floyd was born in Bogard, Missouri on January 6, 1931, to Minnie (Renzelman) and James Harrison Flick. He graduated from Bogard High School with the Class of 1949. Floyd joined the United States Air Force on January 4, 1951 and he served as a Sergeant until February 1, 1954, when he was honorably discharged in Rapid City, South Dakota. On December 23, 1951 Floyd married Carol Jane Dorner and to this union they were blessed with three children: Connie, Randy, and Keith. Floyd was a farmer at heart who liked growing row crops, and raising cattle and hogs. In his spare time he liked woodworking, and through the years had made many small tables and shelves, as well as other pieces of furniture. He took great pride in his vegetable garden and would spend countless hours making sure the rows were straight and that there were no weeds! Floyd was a dedicated and loving family man who enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his family, it didn't matter what they were doing, and every moment was precious to him. He was a Stet School Board member, a Public Water Supply District #1 Board member, as well as a member of Wakanda Lodge #52 AF&AM. Floyd was also a member of the Bogard Church of Christ until the church memberships were moved to the Carrollton Church of Christ, where he continued to faithfully serve God and his church. Floyd will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife of nearly sixty-six years, Carol, of the home; one daughter, Connie Cooper and husband David, of Stanberry, Missouri; two sons, Randy Flick and wife Carol, of Carrollton, Missouri, and Keith Flick and wife Mindy, of Centralia, Missouri; one sister, Mildred Weaver, of Fort Pierce, Florida; seven grandchildren, Valerie Oberbroeckling and husband Craig, of Prole, Iowa, Jennifer Jensen and husband Brandon, of Maryville, Missouri, Megan Jennings and husband Brent, of Stanberry, Missouri, Aaron Flick, and wife Jaime, of Carrollton, Missouri, Darcy Boorem and husband Jacob, of Lees Summit, Missouri, and Madeline Flick and Carson Flick, both of Centralia, Missouri; and ten great-grandchildren. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don Flick and Marven Flick; and three sisters, Helen Henderson, Gertrude McConnell, and Betty Bachtel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North 65 Highway, Carrollton, Missouri, with Evangelist Wade Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with a Masonic Service beginning at 10:45 a.m., provided by Wakanda Lodge #52 AF&AM. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri, where Full Military Honors will be provided by V.F.W. Post #1773 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. For those who would like to make a memorial contribution, the family respectfully requests they be made to H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund. They may be left at or mailed to Bittiker Funeral Home, P.O.
