Crystalyn "Crissy" Henson was a fighter her entire life. Born June 17th, 1981 at 2 lbs. 7 oz., she was a small but mighty force. Crystal never let her smaller size deter from accomplishing her goals and following her passions. Her love of kayaking in alligator infested waters is proof that Crissy lived life fearlessly and put her hands in God’s care. She was an active member of the Northcliffe Baptist Church in Springhill, Fl.
Crissy unexpectedly leaves behind her dog, Twilight, as well as many family and friends that will miss her dearly. She is survived by her parents, Tom Stuart and Stella Schibler; her sister, Lorie Lofquist and her family, Jeff Lofquist, Brad Lofquist and Haley Lofquist; her grandfather, Delmar Hawkins Esq.; two step-parents, Becca Truly Stuart and Peter Schibler; longtime boyfriend, Jeff Williams; plus many other friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Though Crissy is gone, the impression she left on all of our lives will be there forever.
Funeral services for Crissy will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, MO with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation is Saturday from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. She will be buried with her family in East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico.
