Caroline Ruth Pierski, 71 years of age, of Mexico, MO, passed away with her family by her side on March 11, 2018, in Springfield, MO. She was born on February 13, 1947, to Eber John and Amanda Vivian (Champion) Lantrip in Water Valley, Mississippi. Caroline celebrated 23 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Roger Pierski.
After spending time in Memphis, TN, and then raising her daughter in Nixa, MO, Caroline moved with Roger to Mexico, MO, to be close to their children and grandchildren. They were in the commercial cleaning business together in Mexico, MO. Caroline enjoyed crafting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Caroline is survived by her husband: Roger; daughter and her husband, Diana and Ben Rowell; step-children: Shelly (Ron) Starkey, Roz (Greg) Bianchi, Pam (Randy) McCagni, Marvin (Pam) Pierski; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers: Henry Lantrip, Jimmy (Sandra) Lantrip, and Curtis (Patricia) Lantrip; brother-in-law: Jim Kail; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Vivian Lantrip; sister: Myrtis Kail; and sister-in-law: Peggy Lantrip.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Springfield, MO. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Caroline will be laid to rest after funeral services at Glenn Cemetery in Nixa, MO.
