Ross Armenius Barber, 77, of Auxvasse passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Harry S. Truman Veteran’s Hospital.
He was born on November 11, 1940 in Kissimmee Park, Florida, the son of the late Fritz Barber and the late Myrtle A. (Young) Barber.
Ross was united in marriage to Dixie Dianne (Galwith) Barber on May 27, 2006. She survives his passing.
Ross proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was employed for 34 years with Archer Daniel Midland where he worked as a truck loader. Ross enjoyed playing the lottery, fishing and working in his garden. Spending time with family was always his greatest pleasure.
He will be fondly remembered by his wife, Dixie; step-sons, Jared Evans (Donna) of Auxvasse, and Matthew Galwith of Fulton; and twelve step-grandchildren.
Ross was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at New Hope Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
