Gladys Mae Dry, 89, of Mexico, formerly of Benton City, passed away at 6:04 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the King’s Daughters Home surrounded by her loving children.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Benton City Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gladys was born on September 22, 1928 in Perry, the daughter of Warren Richard and Nadine (Cooperider) Buffington. On March 3, 1952 in Paris, she married James Robert Dry. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2003.

Mrs. Dry was a homemaker and a member of the Benton City Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Carl E. Dry of Columbia, Debbie (Joe) Koelling of Jefferson City, Donna (Pat) Talley of Benton City, and Nadine Kuda of Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Carl D. (Christy) Dry of Benton City, Carla (Travis) Clines of Fulton, David Koelling of Jefferson City, Heather (Randy) Aulbur of Holts Summit, Samantha Zaiger of Fulton, Tina (Matt) Hurley of Holts Summit, Katie (Jim) Rericha of Linn Creek, Amanda Kuda of Austin, Texas, Mason (Allie) Talley of Mexico, and Brian Kuda of Mexico; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Virginia Barton of Memphis, Twila Baker of Kansas City, and Nadine McCollum of Holt, Michigan.

In addition to her husband, Jim, Gladys was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Cyrus Buffington, Sarah Robinson, Clarence Buffington, Della Street, David Buffington, Leo Buffington, Lloyd Buffington, Eva Parks, Warren Buffington, and Paul Buffington.
