Floyd Allen Vestal, 68 passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at NHS in Joplin MO after a long struggle with respiratory failure and heart failure. Mr. Vestal was born on May 1, 1950 in Macon, MO to Jesse Allen and Dorothy Jean (Samuels Clardy) Vestal. Floyd spent most of his adult life in and around Mexico, MO. He worked 20 years for Wetterau Foods and then 20 years at TEVA Pharmaceuticals. He married Nancy B Maxwell on November 23, 1974 in Laddonia, MO who survives at their home.

Floyd Vestal was preceded in death by both parents and an infant sister, Lillie Pearl Vestal. He is survived by his loving children DeAnna (William) Tracy, Allen and Alex Vestal all of Joplin MO. He is deeply missed by his grandchildren Draco, Dayva, Devon, and Bruce Vestal of Joplin Mo and Isaac Gifford of Mexico MO. He is also survived by his beloved siblings Frank Vestal of Laddonia, Elizabeth "Liz" Blair of Mexico and Forrest "Frosty" Vestal of Auxvasse, and many loving nieces and nephews

He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1968 and joined the Navy in 1969. He attended college NMSU and MACC.

Mr. Vestal was cremated with part of the ashes to be planted with a Japanese Maple as a living memorial in a private ceremony at his home and the remainder to be interned at the Laddonia Cemetery on July 15, 2018 at 1pm
