Geraldine Kay “Deanie” Baker, age 68, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.

Deanie was born in Shelby County, MO on December 2, 1949, the daughter Joseph H. and Illine M. Montgomery Fifer.

She is survived by three children; Tammy Baker and fiancé Jim Heinecke of Taylor, MO, Christina Baker of Mexico, MO, and Michael Baker of Mexico, MO, six grandchildren; Ashley Ratliff, Kendra Shimek, Don Davis, Dayneisha Shivers, McKinzey Baker, and Kobbey Guile, eight great grandchildren; Dalton Ratliff, Chase Ellis, Ethan Ratliff, Carlena Shimek, Korbin Lampkin, Chloe Shimek, Skylynn Renee Rotte, and Rylan Noah Ray; brothers and sisters, Barbara Davis, Harvey Fifer, Bonnie Hopper, Gerald Ray Fifer, May Smith, Sandra Copenhaver, Gary Fifer, David Fifer, Sam Fifer, a special friend, William DeYoung Jr., and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brother, Fred, Bob, and Larry Fifer, and infant sister Tammy.

Deanie loved BBQ, dancing, loved her flowers, hiking, rock and mushroom hunting, riding around in the country, working in the garden, and spending time with her family.

Funeral Service was held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO. Visitation was held from 3 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the funeral home in Shelbina.
