Linda Kay Morton, 52 of Mexico, died at 9:04 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Audrain Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Linda was born Jan. 5, 1958 in St. Louis, the daughter of Victor Clark and Anna N. (Kitson) LaRue. On June 20, 1987 in Mexico, she married John Delbert Morton Jr. He died on Feb. 27, 2007.
Mrs. Morton was a Baptist by faith. She worked at Walmart and was a member of NAMI. Linda collected dolls, loved to drive and help people and was a sweet and loving person.
Survivors include her mother, Anna N. LaRue of Mexico; two daughters, Elaine Kay Morton and Lindsey Anne Morton, both of Moberly; one sister, Sandra Lynn (Henry) Puckett of Moberly; one nephew, Michael (Carrie) Puckett of Moberly; two nieces, Michelle Puckett of Moberly and Jennifer (Bryan) Ehlen of Edwardsville, Ill.; and six great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Randall Clark LaRue.
