Dorothy W. Smith
Dorothy W. Smith, 87, of Falls Church, Va., passed away on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at Arleigh Burke Pavilion. She was a member of First Christian Church of Falls Church and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Captain Peter S. Smith, USN (Ret.). Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Lee Smith and her sons, Thomas Aubrey Smith and Timothy Edward Smith. A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 17, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Everly Community Funeral Care, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22044. Funeral services will be held at Fort Myer Chapel on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. with burial to follow at Arlington National Cemetery.
