Timothy Edward Griffith
Timothy Edward Griffith, 67, of Rocheport, formerly of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at his home.
Tim was born in St. Louis on March 1, 1942, the son of Alice (Werges) and Dorsey Griffith.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Arnold Funeral Home.
Tim graduated from Mexico High School in 1960 and joined the U.S. Navy in 1961, upon returning from service he attended Northeast Missouri State University and later graduated from mortuary school in Dallas, Texas. He worked in the mid-Missouri area as a mortician and funeral director and owned Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Tim is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Dee Carlos of Rocheport and Alissa Ann Prewitt of Rocheport. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
