Zac “Zac Attack” Talley
Zachary Talley, 7, of Auxvasse, entered into heaven on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. He was born December 18, 2001 in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Brad Talley of Mexico, and Chrystal (Freels) Terrell of Auxvasse.
In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his stepfather, Jason Terrell of Auxvasse; two brothers, Brandon Beasley and Zac’s twin, Tyler Talley of the home; one sister, his “only sister”, Meagan Talley of the home; three stepbrothers, Austin, Garrett, and Dylan Terrell; paternal grandfather, William Talley of Mexico; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Lois Freels of Auxvasse; three uncles, Duane Freels of Auxvasse, Rodney Talley (Gina) of Mexico, and Bryan Talley of Mexico; one aunt, Teresa Stull and her husband Robin of Lake Ozark; his second moms, Jenny Bondurant and Jill Wortmann; numerous great aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; and many dear friends. Zac was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Beverly Talley.
Zac was a first grade student at Auxvasse Elementary. He enjoyed his dog, Bailey and his horse, Angel Boy. He enjoyed being outdoors and playing ball for North Callaway T-Birds. Zac enjoyed country music and shopping on Ebay and Craigslist. He was also a whiz at texting. He loved to color and do crafts. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Monday, July 13, at the First Baptist Church in Fulton, with Rev. Mike Crowson and Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, at First Baptist Church in Fulton. Feel free to wear your Zac Attack, ball uniform, or Cardinal gear. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zac Attack Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of Audrain County.

Nellie MacKenzie Thomas
Nellie MacKenzie Thomas, 61 of Gladstone, born Feb. 12, 1948, passed away at her home on July 7, 2009.
Nell grew up in Webberville, Mich. on the MacKenzie Dairy Farm. After graduating Webberville High School, Nell moved to Denver where she met and married her husband. They had three children and lived in Mexico, Mo., for several years, before settling in Kansas City, Mo. Nell was blessed with a fun and spirited redhead’s personality that nurtured the unique qualities of each person she knew. The greatest enjoyment Nell knew was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, sewing and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Anna MacKenzie; and brother, Gene. She is survived by her husband, Brent D. Thomas; daughters, Jennifer and Bryan Sapp and Bridget and Chuck Mussorici; son, Brock Thomas and Ellen Arseneau; grandchildren, Charlie Mussorici, Sofia Mussorici, Brooklyn Sapp, Brody Thomas; brother, Ed MacKenzie, wife Karen MacKenzie; and sister, Rita MacKenzie.
Vigil service will be Friday, July 10, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th St., Kansas City, Mo., where Nell was a member.
Memorial Mass will be Saturday, July 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Nell served as a volunteer on the KCS Holiday Express train for many years, giving underprivileged Christmas gifts and smiles. She asked that memorial contributions be made to the Greater Kansas City Com-munity Foundation-KCS Fund in her honor. (Arr: White Chapel Funeral Home 816-452-8419).

Larry W. Muenks
Funeral services for Larry W. Muenks, 54, of Wellsville, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Marshall.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City.
Mr. Muenks died at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at the Warrenton Manor.
