Randy Ball
Randall Eugene Ball, 44 of Mexico, died at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home with Jonathan Ingram and John Ball officiating. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Randy was born Feb. 14, 1964 in Mexico, the son of Charles M. Ball and Frances Sue Ann (Bobbitt) Ball.
Mr. Ball had worked for 17 years at A.B. Chance and previously for 10 years as the maintenance man for McDonalds. He was a semi-pro horseshoe pitcher and had coached wrestling for junior kids. Randy loved all sports, including frisbie golf, golf, baseball and bowling. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers fan, but Randy will best be known for his keen sense of humor. He was a member of Love Street Christian Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Renee Ball of Mexico; his father, Chuck Ball and wife, Betty, of Mexico; his mother, Sue Ann Hagemeyer and husband, Hank, of Dixon; one niece, Danielle Ball of Jefferson City; and one nephew, Levi Ball of Jefferson City.
Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Ball; paternal grandparents, Lebbius and Sue Ball; and maternal grandparents, Goldie and Lawrence Leverett.
Memorials may be made to the Mexico Senior Center or Kentucky Road Christian Church.

June Scott
Vada June Scott, 85 of Mexico, died at 8:05 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at the Golden Living Center-Pin Oaks in Mexico.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Arnold Funeral Home with Fr. Russell Judge officiating. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Union Chapel Cemetery in Garfield, Ark.
June was born Aug. 27, 1923 in LaRue, Ark., the daughter of Harold Euel and Loy Gertrude (Ford) Bland. On Feb. 19, 1944, near Rogers, Ark., she married James F. Scott. He died on June 25, 1999.
Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years and had helped in the nursery. June’s hobbies included embroidering, reading and she loved flowers.
Survivors include one son, Jimmie L. Scott and wife, Diane, of Ozark; two daughters, Elaine Kribble and husband, John, of Mexico and Jan Hoyt and husband, Tim, of Laddonia; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Brown, Kera (Jason) Nadler, Alicia Scott, Janette (John) Hagan, David Kribble, Katelyn Hoyt and Erica Hoyt; six great-grandchildren, Zoe and Cybil Brown, Owen and Finn Hagan, June Kribble and Ethan Borges; and one sister, Ola Mae Christie and husband, Keith, of Springfield.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert and James Bland.

Darlene F. Dubea
Darlene F. Dubea, 65 of Mexico, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008 at Audrain Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Thursday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home.
Darlene was born on Sept. 29, 1942 in Cairo, Ill., the daughter of Hiram and Edith (Smith) Tindall. She married Louis B. Dubea, Sr., who survives at Gamma Road Nursing Home in Wellsville.
She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed playing bingo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother Edith Christian of Mexico, five children and their spouses: Tina McCeary and Roy of Harrisonville, Ark., Marvine Coley and Dwayne of Brighton, Tenn., Tammy Trammell and James of Calvin, Okla., Louis Dubea, Jr. and Jo Lynn of Mexico and Samuel Dubea and Jennifer of Madison. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, Sean, Nicole, Justin, Taylor, Branson, Nicole Rachael, Chris, Johnnie, Clinton, Leigha, Amber, Brittany Michelle, Brittany Rae, Travis, Chelcie, Elijah, Dakota, Piper, Alyssa, Tiffani, Jacob, Shelby, Dalton, Jamie and Dillon; 12 great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Christian, Brooklynn, Carissa, Calen, Alexis, Destiny, Ashley, Emylee, Cindy, Hunter, and Nicie; two brothers, Dennis Christian of Mexico and Charles Tindall of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a sister, Barbara Avery of Mexico.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
