North Callaway meeting
According to Thunderbird athletic director Terry Metcalf, there will be a meeting at North Callaway High School on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for all North Callaway students and their parents participating in the following fall sports: HS football, HS cross country, HS softball, JH cheerleading, JH football and JH softball.
The meeting will be held at the high school football field. Items to be covered include drug testing, and school and MSHSAA rules. Coaches will also be present to discuss team rules, pass out game and practice schedules, and answer any questions.
Montgomery County meeting
A meeting for Montgomery County High School parents and their student-athletes has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. in the high school gym.
Wildcat atheltic director Corey Felten said attendance is required by all high school athletes for their participation in fall sports. Gold cards will be distributed at the meeting, he added.
