Megan Williams topped NorCal with 14P, including four 3-pointers and 11 of her team’s 12 points the third period. Morgan Brown-Emmons added 9R and Kelsey West 6P/5S for 8-18 North Callaway, which meets Elsberry at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals after Centralia takes on Bowling Green at 5:30. CLASS 2/DISTRICT 6: Fourth seed Silex led 22-6, 43-12 and 57-25 in Monday’s 64-28 victory over fifth seed Community R-6 girls in a tournament opener at Louisiana. Brittni Brandwein and Alisha Arens shared high-point honors for the 13-12 Lady Trojans with 6P apiece, while Pam Bertels and Elizabeth Orr added 5P each. Other first-round scores were No. 1 seed Canton 79, Louisiana 46; No. 2 Clopton 47, Wellsville-Middletown 34; Van-Far 61, No. 3 Paris 54. Wednesday’s semifinals match Clopton vs. Van-Far at 6 p.m., followed by Canton vs. Silex at 7:30 p.m.
