Four games are under the belt of each of the 6 teams making up the Mexico Optimist Little League fall fast-pitch softball league.
Games are played at 1 p.m, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sundays at Optimist Park through Oct. 19.
In the 10-and-under division, the Cardinals stand at 2-1-1, Lightning 2-2 and Stunners 1-2-1. In the 14-and-under division, the Blue Demons and Whiplash both sport 3-1 records while the Steamrollers are 0-4.
Highlights from Sept. 28 games follow below.

10-AND-UNDER DIVISION
Lightning 11, Cardinals 7: Taylor Brown had a single, double and 3 RBI for the Lightning, while DaeJera Holman singled and drove in a run and sub Sarah Jeffries also singled. Starting and winning pitcher Sydny Hull struck out 3. For the Cardinals, who started Tristyn Chase on the mound, Morgan Hall doubled, Kayla Scobee singled, Chase singled with an RBI and Angela Walch singled with 2 RBI.
Cardinals 15, Stunners 15: Tristyn Chase and Morgan Hall shared pitching duties for the Cardinals, while Challise Taylor and Katelyn Smith did likewise for the Stunners. For the Stunners, Smith tripled, singled and had 3 RBI, Taylor had 2 RBI, Abby Jones had 2 singles and 2 RBI and Alexia (no last name reported) also drove in a pair of runs. Hall collected a double, 2 singles and 5 RBI for the Cardinals; Angela Walch had 2 singles and an RBI, Brooke Ransom 2 singles and 2 RBI and Chase a double, single and 3 RBI.
Stunners 12, Lightning 11: Katelyn Smith hit a double and drove in 4 runs, while Challise Taylor also doubled with 4 RBI and Sarah Jeffries singled with 2 RBI for the Stunners, who pitched Smith and Taylor. For the Lightning, Sydny Hull had a single and an RBI, Baylee Alarcon a single and an RBI, DaeJera Holman 2 doubles, a single and 5 RBI and Kaylin Rodenbaugh a single and an RBI. Aaryn Sampo started for Lightning with Holman and Taylor Brown pitching in relief.

14-AND-UNDER DIVISION
Whiplash 9, Steamrollers 7: For the Whiplash, Aaliyah Thomas delivered 2 singles and an RBI, Tessah Shaw 2 singles, Kirby Webber a single and an RBI and Cassie Early a game-winning double with 2 RBI. Starting pitcher Karley Newsom fanned 5 and third baseman Amber Terry turned a double play. For the Steamrollers, Brittany Bellamy tripled, Caitlin Blackburn singled, Rachel Buck singled and Mallory Gotcher singled, while Sarah Weakley pitched.
Blue Demons 20, Steamrollers 7: Kristin Walch was the starting and winning pitcher for the Blue Demons with Mariah Miller throwing in relief. Emilee Rodenbaugh had a single and RBI, Walch 2 singles and 2 RBI, Miller a single and 2 RBI, Tori Shaw a triple and an RBI, Courtney Inlow 2 singles and an RBI and Kaylin Crow a single and an RBI. Mallory Gotcher singled twice and drove in a run for the Steamrollers; Rachel Buck doubled and had 2 RBI, Sarah Weakley singled, Leigha Lierheimer singled, Mayson Gotcher singled and Brooke Allen singled with an RBI. Lierheimer started and Weakley threw in relief.
Whiplash 7, Blue Demons 4: Starting and winning pitcher Tessah Shaw struck out 10 for the Whiplash, who saw Aaliyah Thomas collect 2 triples and an RBI, Amber Terry a single, Shaw a homer, double, single and 2 RBI, Sam Spurling 2 singles and an RBI and Daphne Scobee a single. Starting pitcher Peyton David fanned 14 for the Blue Demons; Tori Shaw hit a home run, a single and 2 RBI, Emilee Rodenbaugh a single, David a single and an RBI and Kylie Sargeant a double and an RBI.
